We have Two Anterior segment specialist surgeons, one Glaucoma specialist and one Retinal specialist surgeon at our hospital. We have 30 highly qualified associates (Ophthalmic Surgeons) attending our institution and performing different types of Eye surgery at our hospital.

Chief Medical Director, Doctor Eye Institute, Dr. Jayesh N. Doctor D. O. ( London ) had established the institute in 1964. Dr. Jayesh Doctor was amongst the first In India to start Cataract Surgery with Intra Ocular Lens Implantation. |

His son, Dr. Kumar
J. Doctor, our Medical Director, is an internationally
renowned Phaco and Refractive Surgeon who demonstrates Phacoemulsification
and LASIK surgery all over India and abroad. He has won many
awards, amongst the recent ones are Best Academic Private
Practitioner Award , Best Video Award and
Award for Innovations in Ophthalmology (BOA/ MOS)
and the Merit Video Presentation Award (APAO
Singapore). Most recently Dr. Kumar Doctor won the trophy as
the Captain of his team of 5 prominent Ophthalmologists from
India in Ophthalmic Premier League(OPL) held
at IIRSI meet in Delhi in September 2009.

Dr Chanda Hingorani MBBS, DO, MS Glaucoma Consultant
Dr. Chanda Hingorani received her basic medical education from B J Medical College, Ahmedabad and completed her postgraduate training in Ophthalmology at M and J Western Regional Institute, Ahmedabad, Gujarat University. She has worked as a senior resident for 6 months at M and J Institute, Ahmedabad.
